| A melamine faced chipboard (MFC) consists scrap wood pressed under high temperature and pressure conditions, using binding agents. The top layer is a decorative melamine coating in a wide range of colours. MFC boards are humidity-resistant and the board edge must be protected with profiles or veneer. | Compact high pressure laminate (HPL) consists of resin-soaked cellulose fibres pressed under high pressure. The top layer is a decorative coating in a wide range of colours. HPL boards are waterproof and their properties are identical across the board section. |
SANDWICH boards: |

| SANDWICH boards are multi-layered boards consisting of the core and facing. They are manufactured by ALSANIT. We have two types of sandwich boards: Type A - thickness: 36 mm - polystyrene core with the thickness of 28 mm, two-sided HPL facing of 4 mm. Type B - thickness: 40 mm - chipboard core with the thickness of 38 mm, two-sided HPL facing of 1 mm, vertical edges finished with strips of solid beech. |
